It is not very clear what is 'not' working. What steps are you following exactly and what are you seeing or not seeing? Did you go through the tutorial? Did everything work properly?

In regards to the exception, can you please describe which model you are using (json)? You can copy/paste here (model tab and whichever model is current).

Thanks
Yan

You should check the agent log file (agent-server/data/logs/org.linkedin.glu.agent-server.out) to see if the agent starts properly or not (it sounds like it does not from your description otherwise it would show up in the console).

In reply to this post by Nezha
Clearly from the previous log file, there was an issue with the agent.

What I would suggest at this point is to stop everything (tutorial.sh stop) and make sure that everything is really stopped (use ps to make sure everything is down: if you still have some java processes running then kill them (kill -9)).

Then delete the installation entirely (so that there is nothing left) and reinstall it from scratch and restart the tutorial from the beginning (tutorial.sh setup etc...)

Hope this fixes the issue.

Re: cannot list the agents after adding fabric

Can you please specify:

* version of java (java -version)
* which os you use
* version of glu (assuming 4.0.0)

Also can you go to the Models tab and select the currently highlighted model (by clicking on its id). This lead you to a page with a textarea containing the json representation of the current model. Please copy/paste here.

Thanks
Yan

You should also check this thread: http://glu.977617.n3.nabble.com/Grails-exception-in-GLU-testing-setup-td3179242.html

I strongly believe your issue is that you are not using the sun/oracle java vm. This is mentioned in the glu tutorial (http://linkedin.github.com/glu/docs/latest/html/tutorial.html)

This is the problem: Your issue is that you are not using the sun/oracle java vm. This is mentioned in the glu tutorial (http://linkedin.github.com/glu/docs/latest/html/tutorial.html)
